14U HPP/EBLO Coach: Jeff Ingram
Jeff Ingram has spent more than a decade coaching young athletes and the past five years within the Burlington Bulls AA and AAA programs. He was also the inaugural coach of the organization's 12U High Performance Program, helping establish a strong foundation for player development and competitive excellence.
As a former COBA player and collegiate student-athlete at McMaster University, Jeff understands the commitment required to succeed at higher levels of sport. His coaching philosophy is built around effort, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Jeff is passionate about creating a positive and competitive environment where athletes are challenged to develop confidence, leadership skills, and a strong work ethic while reaching their full potential on and off the field.
15U HPP/EBLO Coach: Kellen Miyata
Kellen brings more than 20 years of competitive baseball experience as both a player and coach. As a player, he spent six seasons with the Burlington Bulls AAA program, winning two Ontario Championships, before continuing with the Canadian Thunderbirds and earning an invitation to the Pittsburgh Pirates Showcase.
Kellen began coaching at just 14 years old, becoming the youngest certified baseball coach in Canada. Over the past decade, he has served as a Head Coach within Burlington's AA and AAA programs, leading teams to numerous successes, including a runner-up finish at the Ontario Championships, a Sports Force Tournament championship in Sandusky, Ohio, and multiple tournament titles. He was named Burlington AAA Coach of the Year in 2019.
In addition to coaching, Kellen is a Nationally Certified Baseball Coach and currently serves as a Baseball Ontario Coach Developer and Trainer, helping educate and mentor coaches across the province.
16U HPP/EBLO Coach: John Axford
John Axford is one of the most accomplished Canadian pitchers in Major League Baseball history. Over an 11-year MLB career, he pitched for eight organizations, including Toronto, Milwaukee, St. Louis, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Colorado, Oakland, and Los Angeles. He ranks sixth all-time in games pitched and second all-time in saves among Canadian-born players.
John's career highlights include winning the 2011 Rolaids Relief Man Award, pitching in the 2013 World Series, representing Team Canada at the 2023 World Baseball Classic, and earning induction into the Milwaukee Brewers Wall of Honor.
A former NCAA Division I pitcher and College World Series participant, John remains committed to developing the next generation of athletes by sharing the knowledge and experiences gained throughout his professional baseball journey.
18U HPP/EBLO Coach: Julian Parson
Julian Parson is a former NCAA Division I baseball player and accomplished pitcher who brings a wealth of high-level playing experience and athlete development knowledge to the EBLO program.
Julian spent three seasons at the University of South Carolina Upstate before completing his senior year at Winthrop University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Kinesiology. As a four-year collegiate athlete, he competed in the Big South Conference Championship Tournament each season and established himself as a reliable relief pitcher and valuable member of championship-contending programs.
Prior to college, Julian played for the Ontario Blue Jays and was ranked among Ontario's top prospects by Perfect Game. His playing accomplishments include multiple Perfect Game All-American recognitions, WWBA All-Tournament selections, and selection as a Southern Collegiate Baseball League All-Star. Combining his baseball background with advanced training knowledge, Julian is committed to helping athletes maximize their development both on and off the field through skill development, performance training, and mentorship.
